The PhD association APROVE of the Amsterdam medical center (AMC) organizes their yearly symposium on Friday, April 12 entitled: Making Money in Science. During this event you will learn how to obtain grants for research and how to translate research into a profitable enterprise. Several speakers – including Edvard Beem (ZonMw), Joris Heus (Knowledge Transfer Office), Jan van de Winkel (Genmab) and Drummond Rennie (JAMA) – will share their knowledge and ideas on this subject with the public. Feel free to start a discussion :). The whole evening will also feature live music and will end with a party. The symposium is aimed at PhD students, but other interested parties are also welcome!
